Anaerobic Digestion Systems
Anaerobic Digestion is widely used in waste and wastewater treatment. Organic material is broken down by microscopic organisms. Biogas, rich in methane (60%-70%), is produced and collected during the process. Material that ultimately cannot be converted into biogas exits the process as digested solids to be used in the production of a finished compost.
